This resource has been created to support the teacher judgement of a child’s reading ability at the end of Year 1 (working towards). The Reading Programme of Study for Year 1 has been used to build up the assessment check boxes.
These reading record grids have extracts from 'The Goat and the Stoat and the Boat' and 'The Cat and the Rat and the Hat' by Em Lynas and Matt Hunt.
These assessment grids do not include the texts. The texts can be purchased here (click the book names):
